Report: Burke in talks with Maple Leafs, presented with

Brian Burke could be the new Maple Leafs GM by the end of this week. According to a report from Canadian sports network TSN, Burke has been in communication with the Leafs brass and is currently in possession of a “term sheet” - not to be confused with a formal contract – that outlines terms and conditions to be contained in a formal offer.
