DENVER - Johan Franzen outscored the Colorado Avalanche by himself.Franzen's second hat trick in three games fueled the Detroit Red Wings' 8-2 rout Thursday night that completed a sweep of the injury-riddled Avalanche.

  1. And ALL eight goals of the Red Wings were scored by Swedes. =D It really was a great game, happy to be able to catch it (first game of the series I got to watch). Me being both from Sweden and a Detroit fan. Kudos to Colorado for fighting (though not dirty!) ’til the end! Down 8-2 in the game and 3-0 in the series. Though you could tell that Sakic was really down.
