Russia beats Slovakia 5-2 to win bronze at world junior tournament

OTTAWA - Not even a bronze medal could erase Russia's thoughts of what might have been. The Russians defeated Slovakia 5-2 to win their second consecutive bronze medal at the world junior hockey championship, but they were still thinking about their heartbreaking 6-5 shootout loss to Canada in Saturday's semifinal.
