I was watching the Flyers/Bruins game on October 27th…minding my own business…when all of a sudden one of my favorite parts of hockey came along. Shawn Thornton vs. Riley Cote in a great bout that left me applauding in my living room and grinning from ear to ear.
Bruins play-by-play man Jack Edwards got it right when he called this “Rock ‘Em Sock ‘Em Robots!†Anytime you get a left-handed fighter and right-handed fighter to drop the gloves it’s great stuff – two guys throwing punches as fast as they can with no intention other than to spark their team and entertain the fans. Great, great stuff.
