Much to my dismay, it looks like the Pens will have to pull Ducks/Kings duties and play two games in Prague to open up next season.
Super lame. I don’t really wanna be robbed of seeing the opening game on local tv because the NHL wants to continue this completely useless overseas series run.
I guess the league wants the Pens/Lightning for next year.
What is the point of this? Take care of the fans you have, not people who will never go to another game.
Do the owners have any say in this? I mean, they can’t possibly make anywhere near as much money off of two games in Prague as they would if the games were at their home rinks.
