In this weeks episode we preview the Southeast Division and get complete analysis and predictions on each team with NHL.com writer Mike Morreale. We also talk about an NHL owner that could be going to jail, why the NHL is headed to court, a star player getting a big-time contract, another star player having his life turned into a movie, why the NHL may be going to Europe full-time, how you can see some of the NHL’s best prospects go head-to-head and a whole lot more.

Great show guys….so its The Hills meets Big Dumb Oath….heh. In all seriousness, I now know why I am saving the Southeast division for last…because well it is the easiest to stomach at the end.
I didn’t know that Medusa was a Slovak…
82 to zero??? That’s absolutely crazy. I hope there was at least a little hair-pulling going on.
I’m not sure what Keith is talking about, comparing Detroit’s signing of Hossa to Colorado and New York’s multiple signings gone bad. Loading up on big names? Most of Detroit’s “big names” are home grown. They aren’t loading up on free agents or trading for a lot of guys. Even if, remember that team in 2002 that “loaded up” with Dominik Hasek, Brett Hull and Luc Robitaille? Those signings seemed to work out ok. I think people forget how good Detroit’s core is and how long they’ve been there. In fact, I believe I read something that stated the 2002 Red Wings had more self-drafted players in the playoffs than any other team, but everyone wanted to accuse them of buying a Cup. As for changes, it seems that every Uwe Krupp they bring in, there’s two or three Drapers or Shanahans. And more Cup rings. If Hossa doesn’t work out, it’s only one year. (PS – Scott Hannan is a big name?)
I was wondering why I didn’t get a chance to do a phone in segment that you would do during the show back on Saturday.
Hi, I found your blog on this new directory of WordPress Blogs at blackhatbootcamp.com/listofwordpressblogs. I dont know how your blog came up, must have been a typo, i duno. Anyways, I just clicked it and here I am. Your blog looks good. Have a nice day. James.
As I was listening to all the old podcasts, I realized that things were a bit more “colorful” language-wise back in the beginning. Eddie, you said early on that you were going to try and work the word “douchebag” into every pod cast. For reasons beyond me, I laugh my ass off every time you say it. So, try and work it in there!
