In this week’s episode we talk about the season-ending injury to Stars captain Brendan Morrow as well as what Dallas needs to do in order to get back into the playoff hunt. We also talk about more injuries to the Blues, Alexander Ovechkin heating up, Ron Wilson calling out one of his players and how the NHL screwed up the All-Star ballot. We also give complete team reports on all 30 teams, discuss the big stories we missed during our break and a whole lot more.

Nice to have you guys back! And congratulations on all the milestones that happened for you in the last couple weeks. You must have posted the podcast veeeeery early on 11-22 cuz I was up at 5 AM and it was already in my ITunes library. Do you ever sleep?
Aaaaaaaaaand, we’re back!
Karen,
It’s good to be back. We did the show in the late hours of Friday night into Saturday morning (Pacific Time) because of a family comitment I had on Saturday. I almost got some sleep while I was driving hope afterwards…but that would have been a bad thing.
The Pizza line is called that because in Ottawa if the Sens score 6 or more goals Little Caesars gives out free pizza. It used to be 5 or more but when the Sens were hot they were handing out too much pizza.
Mathew – Great name for a line. I thought it was because they “delivered” (though not as often as Sens fans might like so far this season).
Nice to hear from you guys again (Eddie and Doug) and congrats to both of you. The show is sounding great. You guys really crack me up sometimes, especially when you’re relaxed and not worrying too much about what us listeners like or dislike. It’s your show so I’m sure whatever you guys do with it will be good.
Mathew – That’s great information, thanks for posting that explanation of the Pizza Line. Good stuff!
Thanks to all of you for supporting the show!

Do you guys think you’ll be able to get anyone on from Toronto and/or Anaheim regarding the Brian Burke situation?
Matt,
We were going to have a guest on to discuss the Burke situation this past week but we had to record the show very late at night. We’ll try to get a guest on in the near future.

When your talking about Brendan Morrow now out of the season, what should the Stars do about their Captain Situation for the rest of the season.
BTW: What do the Stars need to do to get out of the mess their in right now, they played well against Philadelphia last night, but still lost with the Flyer scoring the game winner with 4 minutes left last night.
Great to have the show back, I really missed it.
The more news I hear about the new ownership in Tampa, the more I think they have no idea what they are doing.
Ok cool. I’m looking forward to that.
Happy Thanksgiving!
Good to see you guys back. Hope you all enjoyed your time off.
Just so you guys know, the Oiler-based Internets have exploded again over the fact that an anonymous player has, in a roundabout way, told Sportsnet that MacT’s a dead man walking.

Never a dull moment when you follow this team. (There’s a large comment thread at lowetide.blogspot.com full of speculation as to who the Judas is.) Stay tuned…
