  1. Gotta agree with Doug on the salary cap…the rich teams can just keep signing whoever they need. The salary cap was supposed to keep teams competitive, but we’re seeing more ridiculous contracts than ever before!
    For example, the salary cap in NHL 11 Be a GM mode doesn’t rise nearly as high…I’m in 2013-2014 and it’s only at 63 million. I’m having a helluva time keeping my team together! Definitely keeping the teams competitive, and punishing GMs who make mistakes. Good times. 🙂

  2. The rich teams may still be able to sign who they need. But, you’re still seeing a lot of parity and competitiveness during the season anyway. Look how wide open most of the races are since we’ve had a cap. That won’t change. It’s still a highly competitive league.
