  1. Guys…wanted to say thanks for your professionalism and willingness not to use profanity on the show. Most Saturday afternoons I listen to the show with my seven year old son Elijah as we play hockey in the living room.

(Floor hockey with small nets–yeah, I married an awesome gal to have hockey in the living room [complete with tape on the floor for the crease] and a ping pong table in our formal dining room)

Thanks to you, his hockey knowledge is pretty amazing. As Blackhawks fans, and careful watchers of guys on the blue line and in the crease, we were interested in the Niemi arbitration saga.

When I told him over lunch that we didn’t sign Niemi, he was disappointed. I said that we signed Turco, and he said, “Oh that’s cool. He’s from Dallas. Where’s Niemi going to play? There’s not many places left for him to go.” Yeah, he’s seven years old!

Thanks for being the main source of our hockey news and influencing the next generation of hockey fans.

Year round hockey fans in Indiana,
    Matt and Elijah Switzer
