In this weeks episode we talk about suspensions to three different players, including a biting incident, as well as discuss two of the most "unique" fights in NHL history. We'll also talk about Mats Sundin's return to the ice, who's in and who's out of the All-Star Game and Ed will give his thoughts on how to improve the game. All that plus a breakdown of all 30 teams and a whole lot more. (Due to technical difficulties the show is broken up into two parts this week. Our apologies for the inconvenience.)

From the KHL All Star Game at Red Square you were talking about at the begginning of the show. The attendance from what I read was about 3000 at the game. I had a feeling that if the weather would of been warmer, the attendance would of have been bigger.
Sorry Doug, the lowly Lightning beat your Ducks.
Bobby Ryan’s spin-o-rama hat trick goal against Eddie’s Kings has to be the goal of the year. I think better than Jason Blake’s shootout goal against the Devils. Here’s a look. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eGZJD7SGyz8 Cut to the 2:15 mark for the goal. Awesome “Fox Mo” replay at 3:11
Eddie, I’ve been catching a few Kings broadcasts lately (I don’t have Center Ice, but have a channel called “Game HD”, and they play about 10 games a week from various teams. I’ve also noticed that it’s only FSN channels.) Anyway, I must say Heidi Androl is HOT! Wow, what a knockout.
I have some dates of when the Regular season ends in different parts of North America and Europe. This is just getting started, I will find and post more as I find them.
Europe
Sweden (Elitstern: Febuary 28
Germany (DEL): March 1
Norway (Get-Ligean) Febuary 22
Junior’s
Western Hockey League: March 15
Ontario Hockey League: March 15
Quebec Major Junior Hockey League: March 15
United States Hockey League: April 5
North American Hockey League: March 29
What a pretty goal by Bobby Ryan – thanks for the link, Scott.
So the Bolts swept the Puck Podcast teams. Huh, go figure. Possible California sweep if they beat San Jose.
Doug, a few shows back you said you didn’t understand why Marty St. Louis played on the penalty kill. Do you see now? That was a pretty shorthanded effort against your Ducks. Even with Pronger hooking him. He now has 27 in his career. That’s top 30. Here’s a video. The play begins at :14.
No problem Dave.
Doh.

Scott,
I’m going to be in Tampa for two weeks covering the Super Bowl for Fox Sports Radio. I’m looking to check out at least one Lightning game. Interested in catching a game? And yes, Heidi Androl is very hot.
Definitely. I’ll buy you that beer I promised. What range of dates?

Scott,
I’m thinking either Montreal or Philly but I’ll let you know. Shoot me an e-mail at Puckpodcast@aol.com and I’ll let you know more.
Doug – Appreciated your clarification on Mike Zigomanis’ undisclosed injury as leprosy. I guess that would explain the face off in the corner …
