Puck Podcast – April 15th, 2007

In this week’s episode we are all about the playoffs with recaps, highlights and analysis of every game and every series. We also discuss the Scott Hartnell hit on Jonathan Cheechoo, Alexander Radulov’s hit on Steve Bernier and the suspension that followed and we talk about a ridiculous injury to a Canucks defenseman. We also tell NBC, cable companies and some public officials to shove it and we read your e-mails and responses to our question of the week. All that and a whole lot more in a jam packed Puck Podcast that is 100% discussion of the NHL.

  1. I needed to vent my anger about the cheapest shots in hockey this week. The Ahahiem Ducks were pathetic. Cheap shot after cheap shot. Then to chicken sh-t to back it up.If they get this disturbed over one thumping, imagine how they will act after blowing a 3 game lead

  2. Great show last week, but I do need to know what comments Doug has on the cheap play at the end of the Ducks/Wild game 3. Does Brad May deserve a suspense like Todd Bertuzzi got. I can’t say that the hit is exactly the same, but the result could have been just as bad. Especially when Johnsson is a finess player unlike Moore of Colorado

  3. The bad blood flowed in the final 1:30, when Ducks Kent Huskins and Shawn Thornton went after Wild forward Adam Hall. Hall and Huskins were fighting and Thornton jumped on the back of Hall, it looked like they pile drived Hall to the ice. Thornton needs to be suspensed, along with May’s cheap shot on Johnsson. May and Thornton scurry away from Boogaard, but are more than willing to fight dirty when Boogaard is off the ice. I have Zero respect for 3/4 of the Ducks players, starting with their head coach Carlyle.

  4. Boogard knees people. Johnsson didn’t even have a concussion. Just a bruise. PLay with a sheild. This is playoffs.
