RALEIGH, N.C. (AP) -Tomas Holmstrom helped Ty Conklin get off to a good start with the Detroit Red Wings. Holmstrom scored the go-ahead goal in the second period while Conklin finished with 27 saves in his debut to help the Red Wings beat the Carolina Hurricanes 3-1 on Monday night, giving Detroit its second road win in two tries this season.
