MONTREAL - Sergei Kostitsyn, Maxim Lapierre and Guillaume Latendresse scored in the first period and the Montreal Canadiens went on to a 6-2 victory over the Toronto Maple Leafs in a chippy game Thursday night at the Bell Centre.
