  1. I’ve just started listening to your show (as you guys know, I’m the crazy Canadian who emailed you last week), and I was wondering if you guys do call-ins or discuss fantasy sports?

I’m a big-time listener to MLB.com’s “Fantasy 411” since I became a fantasy player two years ago. While your show is top notch as far as I’m concerned, I think that your show would explode if you started to have a fantasy hockey portion added – MLB.com has over 3 million podcast subscribers alone, in large part due to their “fantasy 411” fans.

Anyways, best of luck – just something I thought I’d mention.

  2. Hello, I am amazed at how many Pens fans like myself tune into your show.

Anyways, this is in regards to the comment you read from the Pens fan on your last show stating that Russia deserves suitable compensation.

While I agree that 200K is far from the worth of a player like Malkin the NHL cannot go out and pay 1 million dollars to transfer over his rights. The reason being is that it would be spitting in the face of every other league that has signed a transfer agreement with the NHL. If Russia feels that 200K per player regardless of talent is unreasonable, and I myself believe that it is, then they need to have an agreement in place that links them with the other hockey franchises around the world. Only then will they have the necessary bargaining power to modify the precedent.

  3. Yet another pens fan listening in to your hockey talk. I wish you guys did the podcast more than once a week. I would like to hear you guys more, especially when the season starts. You could do a daily podcast on the previous nights games, etc.

Keep up the good work. Can’t wait to hear your next podcast.

    Peace

  4. Nice job on your podcast.

If you would be so kind to link our Anaheim Ducks, Los Angeles Kings & San Jose Sharks hockey forums at:

    Thanks!

  5. Good job on your latest podcast. I was glad and a little surprised that you both mentioned the San Jose Sharks having an excellent chance at winning the Western Division title because I think that the Sharks have a really good chance at contending for the cup this year.

GM Doug Wilson has added players to strengthen some of the team’s weaknesses like power play, defense, and winning draws and add that to Joe Thornton’s line, and Patrick Marleau’s line, etc. And not only does the media notice this but I think that the Sharks fans are super excited and ready for the new 2006-2007 season to finally start.

You guys do a really great job!
